Bruno Clutch...page 3

Bruno Clutch is my way of paying homage to the wrestling world of old. As a child my Brother and I were taken to the Olympic Auditorium to see the wrestling matches on a weekly basis. My Grandfather was an avid fan and I think he used us to have an excuse to go to the matches.
We saw all the greats and met them as well. I met the announcer Jimmy Lennon Sr. one night who in turn introduced us to his Son Jimmy Lennon Jr., both major class acts and just the nicest people you could ever want to meet. I met "Judo" Gene Lebell who just happens to be the Father of grappling and my facebook friend! Andre the giant always had nice things to say and after awhile started recognizing us because we were there so much.
My fondest memory had to be the final match Mil Mascaras had a the Olympic. It was the first time I witnessed a Genius in the ring. It was also the first time I saw a man fly. His moves were so graceful ,so athletic and most of those moves are patented Mil Mascaras moves. It is because of these men and Mexican wrestling in general that we have the billion dollar wrestling industry that we know and love today. This Comic is dedicated to Them. The comic is especially dedicated to Mil Mascaras but most of all "Juanito" my Grandfather who started it all.
