I guess it would seem a bit unprofessional to gush over this but here I go anyway. When this story was first realized(10 years ago) I was full of optimism. I figured it would write itself and Artists would fall at my feet to work with me. I was sorely mistaken. I have written myself in to countless corners, redesigned the story at least ten times and lets just say I've had my share of Artist rejections. This has been for lack of a better term...Difficult. So what we are seeing here is just short of amazing for me. The things I'm learning from this first attempt are mind blowing. From character development to page layout there is so much to consider. I actually scouted out an entire city via the internet in order to give the book more realism. I wanted to place landmarks in the background for familiarity to the reader only to decide that the world with in the boarders of the page are fine. I'm really blessed to have Mary working with me. She has great vision when reading the script and that makes all the difference.
